Vote for your future
The YourEP strategic project (Your European Parliament) is rapidly approaching its finish, thus the Nevo Parudimos Association (through project coordinator Laura Turcu), a partner in this project, is preparing the event referring to the dissemination of activities realized, an event organized in partnership with “Eftimie Murgu” University of Resita, on 15.11.2018, starting at 14.00. This event will feature the activities realized during a period of 20 months, especially the 2 mobility events, to Brussels and Strasbourg, which had as purpose the promoting of young people’s participation in political life and their involvement in building a democratic Europe. At the same time, through the YourEP project, young participants have developed their knowledge of the European Union, the functioning and decision-making mechanism, about the European Parliament, and how they themselves can get involved in European decision-making in the future. The main activity of the project was to simulate the European Parliament in the Parliament itself, in Strasbourg in June 2018.
In addition to a brief description of the project, the following will be presented at the event:
The European Parliament and the young people;
The platform for the encouraging of young people’s participation to vote, titled This time I vote!;
The European Youth Event – the largest youth event organized by the European Parliament in Europe;
Debates on the Euro-parliamentary elections of 23 – 26.05.2019;
Opportunities to participate in similar mobility activities within the Erasmus+ program.
This event will also be attended by young people who have been involved in the mobilities described to share their lived experience.
Following the dissemination event, the last activity in this project is the evaluation visit held during the period 21-22.11.2018 in Brussels.
This project is co-funded by the European Commission Erasmus + program.
