Re-Imagine Again! We need participants for a youth exchange in Cyprus
Nevo Parudimos Association is looking for 5 participants and one group leader for a youth exchange that will take place between 10-19 June in Cyprus.
The aim of this project is to make a real difference to young participants seeking a new creative way of living that can benefit not only the individuals, but also, the communities they live in. The knowledge that the participants will gain, the skills they will get, the network they will make, and the personal decisions they will take, is a crucial base from where the change can happen – in their lives and in the lives of people they will inspire by their example.
This youth exchange will involve 36 youngsters ( 5 youngsters + 1 Team Leader) working who
belong to fewer opportunities.
Objectives
- Foster entrepreneurship
- Increase creativity and contribute to personal development of participants
- Provide theoretical and practical knowledge of environmental friendly crafts and products
- Participants teach each other and share from their own experience in using recycled materials in youth activities
- Communication in foreign languages: During the cultural evenings and throughout the exchange participants will be exposed to and encouraged to learn at least some basics of each other’s language.
Participants of this project need to have strong interest on culture, art and creativity, entrepreneurship and environment, to like working with their hands.
Its not obligatory to have high level of English since the project aims to help youngsters that dont speak very well to improve their language skills
The participants should be aged 18 to 30 years old while the leaders can exceed this age limit.
Re-Imagine Again! Reuse our waste with entrepreneurship ” will take place in Cyprus, between 10th
and 19th of June 2019 . 09th of June is arrival day while the departure day is on 220th of June 2019.
The project will take place at a small bungalow village in Kannavia. Participants will be divided of groups of 5 or
6 persons and each group will be assigned to an individual house with its own toilet and shower. If any of the participants wants to launder anything there will be a single washing machine for all the participants to use. The division for the houses will not be based on countries so that we have a multi cultural exchange.
