Nevo Parudimos Association, as a partner, has been implementing an Erasmus+ project “Get Well Together”, an initiative that addresses the issue of mental health and well-being of young people, especially those from marginalized groups, during and after the Covid-19 pandemic. .

The pandemic has dramatically affected the youth sector at European level: very few youth organizations have been able to move activities online and implement them effectively, making it much harder to reach the young people they work with – especially those with fewer opportunities.

In this context, the main aim of the project is to increase the mental well-being of marginalized young people who face more discrimination and exclusion due to Covid-19.

The project objectives are:

– Capacity building of 9 youth workers in combining their work with ecological skills, sports activities, healthy nutrition methods and other essential elements that contribute to mental well-being.

– Increasing the participation and involvement of 45 marginalized young people, giving them a model of a healthy mindset and giving them different opportunities to engage and increase their self-esteem to be more aware of their own strengths.

– Developing a guide for the NGO sector on how to work with marginalized groups using innovative methods on mental health and social inclusion.

Within the project we will carry out the following activities:

Training youth workers on mental health and well-being by creating a set of new working tools adapted to the current social situation.
Capitalizing on these new work tools by testing them in practice
Local activities with young people from marginalized groups. 10 workshops will be organized in each partner country working with young people from the above-mentioned target groups, methods and tools.
