Practice convencion with „Eftimie Murgu” University of Resita

Between February 2014 and January 2019, the Nevo Parudimos Association hosted over 35 students of the “Eftimie Murgu” University in Resita, Faculty of Social Science, specialization Social Work – license – and Management of Social Services – masters, in order to offer the university’s students the possibility to perform their internships on the field, thus increasing the quality of the education.

Between February 2014 – January 2016, Nevo Parudimos Association has hosted 17 students from the „Eftimie Murgu” University of Resita, Faculty of Social Science, students of the Social Work and Management of Social Services departament. The young students have performed their internships based on the active work on the field: case studies, social inquiry, and assistance in procurement of identity documents for the young Rroma people, involvement in the holiday show, charity actions, assisting the EVS volunteers in the non-formal education activities conducted.The internships helped the students complete their knowledge and specialized theory by exercising as a social worker in a safe and friendly environment.Students were free to choose the area they wanted to improve, so they were offered a wide range of activities , both dynamic (direct involvement on the field) and static (introduction to the bureaucratic world of NGOs and international projects, development of community projects, awareness campaigns etc.). Moreover, students have attended trainings and youth exchanges organized by the Association in the country and the association’s partners, abroad.Upon completion of the internship, the students have received a certificate of completion and a practical overhaul note given by the supervisor, note that reflects the student ‘s efforts . Subsequently, if the students wanted to continue working at Nevo Parudimos, they had the opportunity to sign a voluntary agreement (under the law 78/2014) indefinitely.
