Action: Erasmus+ Key Action 2 – Strategic Partnership in the youth sector

Project OVPELO’s obejctive is to develop the recognition of the knowledge acquired through projects like the European Voluntary Service. It takes place over the course of two years (01.09.2014 – 31.08.2016).

OVPELO is involving NGO staff working with EVS volunteers, educational institutions ( universities), VET, public authorities and business representatives. During this project there will be held four transnational meetings organized by four NGO partners, and also a public local/national event taking place in each of the partner countries. The end result of this strategic partnership lies in creating an online platform that aims at the recognition of  knowledge acquired through EVS projects.

 

Project objectives:

Identifying quality criteria to validate the skills acquired by the volunteers during the EVS projects.

Promoting on a bigger scale the need for standardized validation of EVS experience as significant international learning experience.

Creating a network of European organization interested in future cooperation regarding the recognition of the abilities acquired throigh non-formal education.

Capturing the interest of educational institutions and other relevant stakeholders, by creating networks and dissemination activities.
