The AI-ASSIST – Empowering Social Inclusion of Roma through AI-Driven Adult Education project aims to promote the social and digital inclusion of vulnerable communities through the use of artificial intelligence in adult education and social work. The initiative brings together organisations from Germany, Romania, Austria, and Hungary with expertise in social inclusion, non-formal education, community work, and digital skills development.

The project addresses the challenges of digital exclusion faced by Roma people, migrants, and persons with disabilities, who often experience difficulties in accessing public services, education, and employment opportunities due to limited digital literacy, language barriers, and restricted access to technology. Building on the results of the previous DIGITALIZE project, the partners aim to develop innovative AI-based tools tailored to the needs of vulnerable groups.

Through the use of artificial intelligence technologies, the project will create smart and accessible tools that facilitate access to services and information for disadvantaged individuals while supporting the work of social and community workers. At the same time, the project promotes the development of digital skills and the integration of innovative technologies into adult education and social services.
