Nevo Parudimos Association implements between 01.02 – 31.10.2023 the Erasmus+ project Youth and active digital citizenship, a partnership between 5 European countries that wants to develop capacities among young people from particularly disadvantaged backgrounds, to access the online environment correctly and safely. This project aims to create a non-discriminatory framework in which young people from disadvantaged backgrounds have the necessary skills to surf online safely for an increased quality of life in the future.
The objectives of this project are:
1. To promote online mobilization and activism among 40 young people regarding human rights and active citizenship online
2. Raising awareness of 40 young people about the good and bad aspects of using the Internet
3. To develop effective digital and safe internet skills among 40 young people
4. Increasing the knowledge of 40 young people about using the Internet for civic purposes (organizing online campaigns)
The project will involve the organization of a youth exchange that will take place for 7 days in Brebu commune, Caraș-Severin, Romania between 01-09/07/2023.
