  1. To increase the participation of young people in the democratic life, especially those coming from disadvantaged communities;
  2. To empower young people in organizing local campaigns to promote the importance of voting, among young people;
  3. To develop the knowledge about the European Parliament and its role;
  4. To increase the number of young people voting in the EP elections;

In total, 50 participants, group leaders and facilitators learned about the importance and responsibility of voting, about the European Institutions and their role in the democratic life, learned how to raise awareness about the involvement of young people in democratic life and at the same time, had an amazing intercultural experience all together.

The main aim was to increase the participation in the EP elections from June, but also to learn about differences between EU and non EU countries (having also the Turkish group involved).

In the follow-up phase participants created their own awareness campaigns and informed the youth from their communities about the EP elections and importance of excercising the right to vote in a responsible and informed way. They went voting themselves as an example of active citizenship and european commitment.
