This belief and mythology and legends from different countries have always inspired me. This is how these paintings came to life” says Regina Damian, when describing the painting of the “Spirits” collection.
Regina Damian was born in a small town called Krasnovodsk near the Caspian Sea. At the age of 6 she moved to Russia, graduated the Arts College and discovered her passion for painting. In 2016 she reached Romania, where she decided to stay and create. The young woman also exhibited in Russia, but in Romania a premiere of her exhibition was in Timisoara on the 1st of March of this year. With the same exhibition, Regina came to Resita, where her paintings were admired during the time period 2 – 14 of May, in the University entrance corridor.
