Migrant women established in Timisoara, participated on the 9th of July at a new activity of learning Romanian at the cooking club initiated by the Nevo Parudimos Association in partnership with the AIDRom Association in Timisoara.

The presentation of a recipe, the creation of a shopping list, the acquisition of different ingredients and the cooking of all dishes together: these were the activities realized inside the cooking club which had as objective the teaching of the Romanian language for migrant women established in Timisoara.

The third meeting of this type took place on the 9th of July at AIDRom Timisoara.

The method “lunch clubs” was selected from more examples of good practice for the integration of refugees from Germany, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Holland, Austria and Finland and in the strategic project Networking Refugees, implemented by the Nevo Parudimos Association. The method successfully used in Wien, Austria was initiated by private persons who offered a budget for the acquisition of ingredients and also offered a meeting place for them to cook together with refugee women, practice and speak German.
