Nevo Parudimos volunteers are actively involved for a cleaner city! Two areas in Reșița were cleaned in two days
The Nevo Parudimos Association, at the initiative of Youth Center volunteers that are coming from different countries of Europe, together with local volunteers, decided to actively engage for a cleaner city.
For this to happen, the young volunteers organized a massive cleaning event of the Reșița Civic Center and Dealu Mare area. The action lasted two days, in 7th and 8th of February, and although it did not get much interest from the citizens, we think that it is an important first step towards a cleaner city and a more involved community.
On the first day of work, 13 volunteers of Nevo Parudimos, armed with garbage bags and gloves, managed to sanitize the Civic Center area, including the parking lots and central streets. In this day, have been colected around 20 bags of waste.

The second day of activity was dedicated to Dealu Mare area, where the volunteers involved had much more work to do than in the previous day, but they managed to be victorious in the fight against waste. In three hours they colected over 25 bags of garbage.
In the future, volunteers Nevo Parudimos are planning to plan this type of activities monthly with the hope that the citizens will help them as much as possible in future actions. In order for this to happen, future cleaning actions will be promoted on the Association’s Facebook page and on our website.
