Reşiţa volunteers on their way to help people from Roma communities

A few groups of people from Asociatia Nevo Parudimos agreed to voluntarily help with delivering packages with powdered milk to Romani people who live in unsatisfactory conditions. Volunteers worked for about 4-6 hours per day to distribute foods on the 19th and the 20th of November.
In the morning, volunteers working with the Asociatia Nevo Parudimos picked up around four hundred boxes from the municipal canteen in Reşiţa and drove to the following places: Timișorii-Babăci, Colonia Poiana Golului, Str. Ciprian Porumbescu, Str. Ceretului, Str. Traian Lalescu, Str. Oituz and Str. Zimbrului.
Each family received around 5-10 cardboard boxes with smaller packages of powdered milk in it. The action aimed to provide Romani people with nutritional comestible products that could last long. The food was to supplement the diet of Roma families, especially children.
The next day, on the 20th of November, three groups of volunteers picked up boxes again with powdered milk and bags with potatoes. They delivered the foods to the Roma communities living in the region of Secu, located approximately 15km away from Reşiţa. The locals kindly welcomed the volunteers who later received thanks for their help.
