The general purpose of our Erasmus+ accreditation for 2024-2025 was to create more opportunities for personal and professional growth for young people, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, and to strengthen the capacity of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) working with these youth. Through the implementation of three mobilities, we focused on the following objectives:
Personal Development of Youth:
- Providing international opportunities (e.g., youth exchanges) for developing language skills, IT skills, intercultural competencies, and boosting self-confidence.
Combating Discrimination and Promoting Inclusion:
- Focus on young people from disadvantaged groups, especially from the Roma community, to combat stereotypes and promote tolerance.
Increasing Youth Participation in Decision-Making:
- Engaging young people in public life at local, national, and international levels, thereby strengthening active citizenship.
Professional Development of Youth Workers:
- Training initiatives and experience exchanges for NGO staff and volunteers involved.
Improving Evaluation and Sharing Best Practices:
- Monitoring the outcomes of activities, learning from previous experiences, and sharing best practices to enhance the quality of interventions.
Activity Plan:
Mobilities for Youth:
- Exchange activities involving young people from EU member states and third countries, integrating digital/virtual components, promoting participation in democratic life and EU values.
- The objective is to stimulate personal development and increase intercultural skills.
Mobilities for Staff (Youth Workers):
- Professional development activities (e.g., PDAMS01) for NGO staff and youth workers.
