Nevo Parudimos Association implemented the youth exchange “Stars of Inclusion” during the period 21-30.01.2024, as part of the Erasmus+ accreditation for the year 2023.
The mobility brought together 45 young participants, 8 leaders, and 2 facilitators from Romania, Spain, Turkey, Lithuania, Czech Republic, North Macedonia, and the Netherlands.
For 8 days, young people learned, in a multicultural setting, about the importance of social inclusion, respect for human rights, and the steps to become more inclusive, empathetic, and tolerant.
The final result of the mobility consisted of staging 6 theater plays at the public event organized on 28.01.2024 at the Lira Hall of Sabin Pauta Art High School in Resita.
The objectives of this mobility were:
- Increasing the participation of young people, especially those of Roma ethnicity from local communities, in international mobilities.
- Facilitating the use of the Forum Theater method as a tool to better understand what inclusion means and how to become ambassadors of an inclusive society.
- Capacitating young people from different backgrounds to become more involved in the fight against discrimination.
