Nevo Parudimos Association implements between November 01-08, 2022 the youth exchange within the Erasmus+ project “TOGETHER WITH MIGRANTS, WE CAN! LOVE SPEECH FIRST”.
The idea of this project arose from the desire for the young generation to be aware of the fact that tolerance in the face of the phenomenon of migration, acceptance of diversity and cultural and religious differences, are considered fundamental values on which European identity is based.
We want young people to be aware that hate speech, stereotypes and racism are based only on misinformation and not on knowledge. We want to develop a sense of peace, brotherhood and tolerance between peoples and cultures, and we believe that this can be achieved by implementing this project, encouraging open discussions and sharing experiences. Each country will contribute and share during the project its experiences and knowledge on this topic.
The objectives of the project are:
- raising awareness among young participants about the migration crisis and the phenomenon of hate speech, which has affected Europe in recent years;
- encouraging young people to take concrete action against hate speech and defamation of migrants, refugees and asylum seekers
- promoting a sense of brotherhood, tolerance, inclusion and respect for diversity among young participants.
This initiative is financed by the Erasmus+ program of the European Commission.
