Nevo Parudimos Association implements for 12 months, as a partner, the “Transnational United Network in Europe – TUNE” project, an initiative that wants to create an EU-wide network of 18 youth organizations that share common values in terms of growth the interest and motivation of young people in being active citizens in democratic life, in the process of promoting voluntarism and social inclusion with the support of Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps.
The main aim of the project is to implement a variety of activities aimed at promoting and supporting the “European Youth Strategy” and its youth objectives, while encouraging greater involvement and participation in EU projects among young people.
The TUNE project has the following objectives:
- The establishment of effective and sustainable partnerships and structures that facilitate the exchange of best practices, skills, information and perspectives between 18 youth organizations, which will represent a firm starting point for the creation of new joint projects and long-term cooperation.
- Strengthen youth work at local level by providing activities for organizations to build capacity, facilitate the formation of local consortia, share knowledge and disseminate good practice.
- Empowering young people to reach their full potential as active citizens by informing them about Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps as programs that support their personal, social and professional development and therefore the development of their communities.
The following main activities are designed and have already started to be implemented:
- an EU Youth Strategy seminar: bringing together various stakeholders, this seminar will delve into the various aspects of the European Youth Strategy, exploring ways to effectively implement its aims and objectives.
- “Europe Day” briefings: These briefings will be organized to celebrate and promote the spirit of Europe, involving young people and informing them about the EU Youth Strategy and its importance for their future.
- Awareness campaigns: through these campaigns we will raise awareness of the EU Youth Strategy, its youth goals and the role of youth in shaping Europe’s future.
- General meeting and organization network development event: this event will provide a platform where the involved organizations come together, share insights and develop strategies to increase youth involvement and civil society involvement in EU projects.
This project represents a partnership between 18 organizations from 16 European countries.
