In an interview of the Hungarian Ambassador in Bucharest, his Excellency, Oszkár Füzes affirmed that Roma integration is one of the priorities of the Hungarian presidency in the EU.

(…) which are the priorities of the Hungarian presidency of the EU Council?

The main objective of the Hungarian presidency are: to have a stronger Europe, with a  more sophisticated human dimension, to obtain concrete and positive results, in the Danube strategy, referring to Roma integration, in common energetic politics (…) and in strengthening economic administration Why? Because these are the main themes that are found in front of the entire European Union, being also the themes of the Hungarian prime-minister’s tour in all the capitals of member states. When talking to chiefs of states and of governments of the EU member states, this was also the list of negotiations results! Thus he observed what could and should the Hungarian presidency do during these six months.
